The flag was approved on June 28, 2006 [3] and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 3233.
Description
"A rectangular cloth of blue color with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the Chekmagushevsky district in blue, white and yellow."
Justification of Symbols
The flag is based on the idea of glorifying the labor of the farmer.
The beautiful nature of the region has long attracted people to Chekmagushev land. According to historical and archaeological materials, people lived here from time immemorial, was engaged in cattle breeding and agriculture. Therefore, silver plows are the main figures of the flag and personify the work of the farmer.
At the top, a silver lark spread its wings - a symbol of the spring concerns of the farmer. In the spring, when work is boiling in the fields, a gray-winged lark joyfully sings a song over the head of the farmer, anticipating swaying ears of corn, which are filled with a bountiful harvest, with a grace wave.
The blue bar represents purity of thoughts, peace and prosperity, friendship of peoples of different nationalities, united in a single friendly family by the concept of “Chekmagushets”. Each of them is a real plowman and sower.
White color ( silver ) is a symbol of perfection, nobility, purity, peace and mutual cooperation.
The yellow color ( gold ) on the plow symbolizes the industriousness of the people, their optimism and desire for higher achievements.
