Teplant is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of mineral wool sandwich panels and insulation . The plant was established in 1957 as the Kuybyshevsky plant of mineral wool products. In 1994, the plant was transformed into JSC Thermosteps-MTL, and in 2012 it was renamed into JSC Teplant. At the moment, the company has two production sites in Samara and a plant in the Ivanovo region . The head office of Teplant is located in Samara.

Company History
- 1957 - The Kuibyshev mineral wool plant was opened in the Kuibyshev district of the city of Kuibyshev . The company specialized in the production of mineral wool and felt .
- 1975 - Products of the Kuibyshev Mineral Wool Products Plant were awarded the USSR State Quality Mark .
- 1994 - Established AOOT "Thermosteps-MTL". The production of sandwich panels has begun.
- 2001 - The technical modernization of the production of mineral wool was completed and a new automatic line for the production of sandwich panels was launched. [3]
- 2002 - Launch of the metal painting workshop.
- 2003 - A certificate of compliance of the quality management system with the international standard ISO 9001 from BSI was received. [3]
- 2005 - Modernization of equipment for the production of non-standard elements, launch of a line for the production of corner sandwich panels.
- 2006 - Thermosteps-MTL was the first in Russia to produce more than 1 million m² sandwich panels in a year. [3]
- 2007 - Launch of the second Teplant sandwich panel production line.
- 2008 - An integrated management system was introduced. Certificates of conformity were received: Bureau Veritas for the quality management system - international standard ISO 9001; environmental management system - international standard ISO 14001 ; occupational safety and health management system - international standard OHSAS 18001 .
- 2009 - Thermosteps-MTL is recognized as the leader in the Russian construction market (award established by the Russian Union of Builders ).
- 2010 - Launch of the second VATTA RUS mineral wool production line. This project has become the largest in the economic life of the Samara region in 2009-2010.
- 2011 - According to the research of the independent analytical company INFO LINE, Teplant OJSC became the market leader in terms of production of three-layer sandwich panels in Russia.
- 2012 - Thermosteps-MTL OJSC was renamed to Teplant OJSC. The new name was formed from the Russian word "heat" and the English word plant - factory, factory. [four]
- 2013 - The Teplant Plant won the All-Russian contest "One Hundred Best Products of Russia". Start of construction of Teplant-Ivanovo.
- 2014 - Teplant OJSC became a member of the Russian Union of Metal Products Suppliers (RSPM). [five]

Activities
Teplant JSC is engaged in the production of heat insulation (mineral wool insulation), wall, roofing and corner sandwich panels based on it, shaped and decorative elements and fastener systems, protective and decorative coatings, and also provides additional services.
Teplant is a full-cycle sandwich panel manufacturing company that itself produces mineral wool insulation, paints metal and produces the final product. The total production capacity of the existing lines of the enterprise is 6 million m² of sandwich panels and up to 60 thousand tons of mineral wool per year. More than 17,000 objects have been built from Teplant sandwich panels: the largest industrial and agricultural facilities, logistics complexes, shopping centers and shops, airports and railway stations, sports facilities (including Olympic ones) and other socially significant facilities.
Production capacities of Teplant JSC include three production sites. Two of them are located in Samara, they have 5 production lines installed (2 lines for the production of mineral wool insulation based on basalt fiber , a line for painting metal - galvanized steel sheet in rolls, 2 lines for the production of monolithic three-layer sandwich panels (Robor SRL , Italy ), machines for the production of shaped elements up to 10,000 mm long). The third production site is located in the city of Teykovo, Ivanovo Region, where another sandwich panel production line is installed (Robor SRL, Italy).
