The flag was approved on July 14, 2006 and entered into the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with the assignment of registration number 3213.
Description
Flag description approved by the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation :
“A rectangular panel with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, consisting of two equal vertical stripes: green (at the flagpole) and blue; over the division of the strips - the rearing horse of yellow color ". [3]

Symbolization Justification
The central figure of the flag, developed on the basis of the coat of arms , is the horse, since the area is known for breeding thoroughbred horses, which win prizes at international, Russian and republican competitions.
The horse is symbolically associated with the highest wisdom, which leads a person through life and personifies the connection of times, the centuries-old people's memory, diligence, farming. A horse is a symbol of fearless courage, generosity, loyalty, readiness for service at any time. The colors of the flag — gold, blue, green — reflect the territorial affiliation to the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Yellow color ( gold ) is the color of the sun, grain, a symbol of the highest value, greatness, wealth, strength, strength, generosity, loyalty, constancy.
The blue color symbolizes grandeur, beauty, development, movement forward, hope and dream, peacefulness, purity of thoughts, especially characteristic of Ermekeevts.
Green color reflects the diversity of plant and animal life and at the same time is a symbol of hope, abundance, freedom and eternity of life.
