Description
“A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, consisting of two horizontal stripes: upper white color with a width of 3/4 of the width of the panel and the lower green color; in the center of the white strip is a black water sparrow with white breasts, a red head, paws and breast plumage. ”
Justification of Symbols
The flag is based on the modern coat of arms of the city of Birsk of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which in turn was developed on the basis of the historical coat of arms of Birsk.
Water sparrow, a rare bird, is found in sufficient quantities in the vicinity of the city in the clear waters of lakes, rivers and streams. On the flag, a water sparrow symbolizes hard work, purity of mind and thoughts.
Silver color is a symbol of nobility, purity, sincerity, beauty and fidelity of the people to their native land.
The green stripe symbolizes the fertility of the Birsk land, joy, freedom, peace.
