Arno Tausch ( German: Arno Tausch , born February 11, 1951 in Salzburg , Austria ) - Austrian political scientist, specialist in the field of European studies, conflictology, development theory, dependency theory, core-peripheral relations; one of the founders of the quantitative version of the world-system approach.

Academic career

He defended his doctoral dissertation in political science at the University of Salzburg in 1976. He currently teaches political science at the University of Innsbruck.

Scientific activity

He published 17 monographs in English and 8 in German. The author of more than 220 scientific articles.
