Kournet Es Saud [2] ( Arabic القرنة السوداء ) is a mountain, the highest point of the Lebanon ridge , as well as throughout Lebanon . The height is 3088 m. It is located about 30 km south-east of Tripoli . Mountain slopes above 1800 m are covered with snow for almost 4 months a year, above 2500 m - up to 6 months a year.
