Biography

From 1940 to the outbreak of war, the actor of the Central Theater of the Red Army. From 1941 to 1943 he was at the front [1] (according to other sources, until 1943 he worked in the NKV ensemble [2] ). In 1943-1944, the shooter actor of the Jazz ensemble of railway troops. Since 1944, the senior clerk of the General Staff motor depot.

After the war he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Theater of Satire .

From 1948 to 1950 he worked as director of the Children's Book Factory.

In 1956 he graduated from the correspondence department of GITIS and became a professional actor.

Since 1961 he acted in films, the first role is Ksan Ksanych in the film “ Girls ” by Yuri Chulyukin [1] , one of the most famous roles is Pan Votruba from the popular television series “ Zucchini“ 13 Chairs “ ”.

At the end of his life he was seriously ill, suffered the amputation of both legs [3] , but did not stop working in the theater.

Passed away July 3, 1993 in Moscow .
