“Only Girls Are in the Sky” is an artistic short film of 1967 . The shooting took place at an altitude of 4000 meters and 20 athletes of the Central Sports Parachute Club of the Airborne Forces took part in them. The film is based on the Russian folk tale "The Abduction of Vasilisa the Beautiful."

Content
Story
Vasilisa the Beautiful was in a hurry on a plane on a date to Ivanushka. Secretly getting into the plane, Baba Yaga was waiting for the right moment to kidnap Vasilisa and stop her from meeting her fiancé. As a result, Baba Yaga grabs Vasilisa the Beautiful and jumps out of the plane with her. Vasilisa is trying to escape from the tenacious hands of the old witch, but she does not succeed and she calls for help Ivanushka. The groom was in a hurry to see his beloved on another plane and in time he heard an alarming call. Ivanushka catches up with the insidious Baba Yaga, after a short fight, pulls out a broom from her and frees Vasilisa. Deprived of magical power, the witch randomly tumbles in the air and swiftly rushes to the ground.
Also in the filming were buffoons, devils and a bear that created a fabulous atmosphere.
Facts
- The film was shot not only by girls, but also by paratroopers, in particular, the 15-time champion of the USSR, the absolute world champion, the 22-time world champion, and the world-class master of sports Ostrovsky Peter Frantsevich made the jumps as the “Bear”.
- Trubochkina Maria did not make jumping in the shoes of a bear, all this is a montage.
