Sergei Anatolyevich Kogogin (born November 16, 1957 , the village of Bolshie Klyuchi , Zelenodolsky District of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian industrialist and statesman [1] .

Content
Biography
Training
After 8 classes of high school, he entered the Kazan Aviation College, which he graduated in 1977. In 1982, he graduated from the Physics Department of Kazan State University with a degree in radio physics, and in 1988, from the Banking School.
He has a Ph.D. in Economics.
Labor
He began his career in 1976 as a milling machine operator at the Kazan Motor Plant. After graduation, he continued to work at the Zelenodolsk Engineering Plant, where he worked from an engineer to a director. In 1990−1994 he was director of the Zelenodolsk Engineering Plant.
Since June 30, 1999 - Member of the Board of Directors of KAMAZ OJSC. Since April 26, 2002 - General Director of KAMAZ OJSC.
In November 2009, he became a member of the Board of Directors of AvtoVAZ OJSC [2] .
In the ranking of senior managers - 2010, the Kommersant newspaper took 1st place in the nomination "Engineering" [3] .
Government Activities
In 1994-1999, he was the head of the administration of the Zelenodolsk district.
In 1999−2002 - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Since March 14, 2004 - Member of the State Council of the Republic.
Family
Married, has two sons (the youngest - Maxim was born in 2009) and a daughter. Wife - Kogogina Alfiya Gumarovna - Member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the sixth convocation.

According to the magazine "Finance", takes 493 place in the ranking of Russian billionaires in 2010 with a fortune of 3.3 billion rubles [8] . Sergey Kogogin owns a 7.0662% stake in KAMAZ PJSC, valued at $ 45 million. This fact allowed him to occupy the eleventh position in the rating of capitalist directors published on November 22, 2018 by Forbes magazine [9] .
