History
Hockey club HC 36 was founded in 1936 . In 1973 , Skalitsa began to represent the elite of the Czechoslovak hockey and lasted there for 15 seasons, twice took fourth place. In the 1992/1993 season, the club again entered the Czechoslovak hockey elite, and then Skalica became a member of the Slovak championship. In the 1998/1999 season, the club won bronze medals. But the most successful in the history of the club was the 2008/2009 season. Having taken the third place in the regular season, ХК 36 reached the final of the playoffs, where in six matches he lost to the Kosice club and won silver medals of the championship. This season, the best player in the team was the great Sigmund Palffy , who scored 64 goals and made 62 assists per season.
In April 2018 , the club’s hockey player David Ivashchenko played for the Ukrainian hockey junior national team ( First Division of Group B ) [1] as a striker, who won the championship [2] .
Cup of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan
A separate line in the history of the club is the participation in the preseason tournament Cup of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan . The team first came to the tournament in 2007 . Then the Slovaks could not win a single victory, but they gained invaluable experience playing with high-class rivals, which was very pleased with the players, staff and coaches of HC 36. It is not surprising that the team accepted the invitation in 2008 as well. At this tournament, the team showed itself well done, fought in every match and was even able to defeat Moscow Spartak . But the best tournament was in 2009 . First, the Slovak team barely defeated the hosts of the Salavat Yulaev tournament (3: 2), then defeated Neftekhimik (2: 1) and outplayed Lada in the last decisive match (1: 0). Thus, HC 36 won the Cup of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the goalkeeper of the Falter team was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
