Biography
Olga Kabo was born on January 28, 1968 in Moscow in a family of engineers Igor Yakovlevich Kabo and Aida Nikolaevna Kabo.
Her grandfather, Yakov Solomonovich Kabo (? —1956), was a well-known figure in Ukraine, secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Ukraine. In 1937 he was repressed and sent to Kolyma. He got married there and only after rehabilitation with his family returned to Moscow, where his son Igor was born. During the Great Patriotic War, his relatives in Ukraine were shot by invaders.
The first five years of her life were brought up by her grandmother in the Urals. [3] Studied at an English special school, studied music, ballroom dancing, rhythmic gymnastics, and attended a cosmonautics studio as a teenager. Subsequently, from 1980 to 1985 she studied at the Young Muscovite Theater at the Palace of Pioneers on the Lenin Hills, where she played several major roles. One of her teachers at the Palace of Pioneers was Viktor Shenderovich [4] .
In 1983, while still a schoolgirl, made her film debut, playing a maid in the television film Anna Pavlova . [3] At the age of 15, she played a major role in the film “And Everything Will Repeat ...”. After the eighth grade, Cabo moved to a specialized school with a theatrical and literary bias at the Shchukin Theater School , which she graduated in 1985 .
