Absheron National Park ( Azerb. Abşeron Milli Parkı ) - created in 2005 on the basis of the Absheron State Wildlife Refuge, in the territories of the Azizbek district of Baku . The total area of the park is 783 hectares (7.83 km²).

Purpose of Creation
Designed to preserve gazelles , Caspian seals and waterfowl living in this territory.
Flora and Fauna
Geyrans , jackals , foxes , badgers , hares live in the dry territory, seals and fish in the waters of the Caspian Sea , birds, silver gull , mute swan , coot , pintail , mallard , great white heron , marsh harrier and other migratory birds . Animals and birds listed in the Red Book of Azerbaijan and living on the territory of the Shirvan National Park are also found in Absheron National Park.
