Small lizards with relatively well-developed five-fingered limbs. For a number of signs, they are close to real gologlaz ( Ablepharus ), but differ from them in that the eyelids do not fully grow together: the gap between the upper and lower eyelids remains under the shields of the upper eyelid. The external ear apertures are well defined, the eardrum is located at the bottom of the short auditory canal.
Distributed in Central Asia , India and Nepal .
These breeding lizards differ from the species of the genus Ablepharus .
Classification
Previously, species of the genus were placed in the genus Ablepharus .
