Biography

In 2004, after completing an architectural education, Lovigin began to engage in photography. Through his photographs, he thereby begins to create his own fictional world, which in 2005 he called him “bonfire” , was formed on the spaces of the Live Journal through images and texts. His photographic series, built on the "principle of contrasts", are filled with fairy-tale characters of his imagination: the Wolf-Emerald Heart, the Odnogogu, the Black Dwarf, and homologized by the author Louis Armstrong , Takeshi Kitano , BG and Sathya Sai Baba .

Gradual growth opened up new opportunities for creativity for him. In autumn 2009, a reprint of the play by Evgeny Grishkovets “Simultaneously” with illustrations by Lovygin is released. Also during the two-year cooperation, Lovigin shot several clips for musical compositions of the project “Grishkovets and Curlers”.

In 2008 he was marked by Olga Sviblova and was invited to participate in the Moscow Photobiennale with three projects at once - “Simple Movements”, “Jamaica” and “Takeshi Kitano and other icons”. This collaboration allowed Lovigin to exhibit in China (Festival in Pingao), in Paris (Passage de Retz), in Israel (Museum of Art in Ashdod), in Istanbul and Thessaloniki, repeatedly published on the pages of the French “ Le Monde ”, and also to be invited to participate in subsequent festivals “Fashion and Style in Photography” and “Photo Biennale”.

In December 2009, his first book, “Costarica-soul,” created on the basis of an Internet blog, was published. In parallel with the release of the book in the gallery of Irina Meglinskaya at the Winery, the author’s largest exhibition, The Wolf-Emerald Heart, opened. Winters 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 Lovigin devotes to the study of India. Based on the results of months of trips around this country, an extensive project “Indian Summer. Indian summer ”, and in May 2012, Treemedia publishing house published the second book of the author,“ Indian Summer ”, dedicated to Indian wanderings.

Since 2010, the international art market is represented by the CLAIR Gallery (Munich). During his work, several personal exhibitions of Lovigin were organized in Europe, a large number of publications in the Western media, and in May 2012, the publishing house Kehrer published the book Planet Lovigin about the author’s trips to Russia and Georgia.

From 2010 to 2017, he visited about a hundred countries, including the DPRK, Iran, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Senegal and others. The stories about which on his blog often reveal the topic of prostitution. In 2017, the release of Lovigin's book “Prisoner of Colored Brothels” is planned.

Lives in Moscow and Porto (Portugal). Since 2016, he has been actively engaged in video again, leads his YouTube channel “Petya Planetka,” and also created a new project, “The Deaths of My Beloved”, in the genre of primitive animation, telling about the deaths of famous writers, artists, and artists.
