Steve Cmack (born September 5, 1970) is an American musician, bass player , known for working with the rock group Disturbed .

Steve founded Disturbed in 1996 with guitarist Dan Donegan and drummer Mike Wengren. Together with them, he recorded the debut album for the group The Sickness, released in 2000 and their second album Believe , released in 2002 .
In 2003, he was fired from the group by Dan Donegan because of “personal disagreements” between him and David after the end of the Music as a Weapon II tour. [1] He was replaced by John Moyer, who is the current bassist for Disturbed.
Steve Kmak currently lives in Chicago with his wife and two children.
