In the United States, the position of Secretary of the Interior has a completely different meaning than in most countries. In essence, this is the US Secretary of Homeland (Territory), as the Secretary of the Interior is responsible for land use, geological exploration, and national parks. Law enforcement refers to the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security , which is an analogue of the department of the interior in other countries, the state and city police, and the Department of Justice .
