Purpose
Designed for warfare as part of amphibious assault forces . It is a highly mobile amphibious forces of constant readiness. The Marine Corps Battalion is directly subordinate to the Azerbaijani Navy .
Equipment and weapons
Ultra-small submarines (group carriers of combat swimmers) of the Triton-1M and Triton-2 types, as well as individual underwater means of movement for divers-scouts of the Siren type and various weapons designed for combat both on land and in sea.
