Story

Schoolchildren, winners of the “For Peace and Mutual Understanding” competition questionnaire make a cruise on the Adriatic on the “Blue Bird” schooner . Taking advantage of the fact that the ship, when entering ports, was exempted from customs inspection , an international gang organized the delivery of a consignment of drugs . The couriers were Mrs. Rips, an observer for the Animal Welfare Society, and her companion, circus artist Lorimur.

The behavior of Monsieur Vilar, a pediatrician assigned to the expedition, seems very strange to a radio amateur from the USA, a schoolboy Ralph and his Yugoslav friend Milan. The guys arrange for him to be watched, until it turns out that the doctor is an Interpol agent, and the real culprit is Lorimur. Following the refusal of Mrs. Rips to dine at the same table with a boy from Senegal , by decision of the general meeting, she was dropped off at the nearest port. The alone partner was forced to request the help of the gangsters by radio.

During a performance at an improvised concert, the guys searched the artist’s cabin and found drugs hidden in paint tubes. Lorimur reached the island on a ship's boat , but was captured by Ralph and Milan, who started after him in pursuit. The captain arrived in time with the sailors and Monsieur Vilar arrested the fugitive, and later the gangster who had come after the cargo.
