The Portuguese Scout Association ACP (translated from AEP Associação dos Escoteiros de Portugal) is a youth movement with a focus on training. It was the first scout association in Portugal . Unlike other scout associations in Portugal, TSA is not associated with religious organizations and accepts people of both sexes, of any faith and nationality.

History
For the first time in 1911, Tenente Alvar Mascadu created in Macau the first group of Portuguese scouts on Portuguese lands. The following year, the first group appeared on the Portuguese continent in Lisbon. Three Lisbon groups created, on September 6, 1930, the Portuguese Scout Association (ASPA). Since its inception, the association has not been associated with any political non-religious movements, TSA has been able to achieve the honor and respect of the Portuguese and the Government of the Republic.
Goals
TSA promotes social values within the framework of humanistic and non-military aspects. She encourages participation in cultural and sporting events, as well as health education.
Age Groups
- 6 to 10 lamb cub scouts (lobitosh)
- 10 to 14 Boy Scouts (tribo escoteira)
- 14 to 16 Explorer Scouts (Tribo Explorer)
- 16 to 21 Rover Scouts clan
- 21 to (Chef)
- up to 50 years old Scout Chef
Any young person can become a member of the TSA in an age-appropriate unit, without the obligatory previous experience. Adults can join an existing group or can help create new scout groups.
