Andrzej Potocki ( Polish: Andrzej Potocki , d. 1691 ) - Polish tycoon and military man of the Potocki clan. The founder of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk , the prototype of several art heroes.

Biography
The eldest son of the great hetman of the crown, Stanislav "Revers" Pototsky and Sofia Kalinovskaya . The elder in the cities of Galich , Vyshogrud , Lezhaysk , Snyatyn , Kolomyia , Mostiska , Medyka .
Member of the Russian-Polish war of 1654-1667 , for which he was awarded the honorary title of the great crown cornet. Being a crown convoy, he commanded a Polish detachment sent to help Ivan Vygovsky . During the battle of Konotop he participated in the blockade of Kiev [1] [2] . In December 1659 it was defeated by the troops of VB Sheremetev [3] . In February 1660, together with his father, the great crown hetman Stanislav Pototsky, he unsuccessfully besieged Mogilev-Podolsky .
Voivode of the Kiev Voivodeship from 1668 to 1673 . Member of the Battle of Khotyn in 1673 , where he commanded the cavalry of the left wing. He led the Polish troops in the battle of Kalush in 1675, where he defeated the Krymchaks . Voivode of the Cracow Voivodeship since 1680 . Kastelian Krakow since 1682 . Complete hetman corona ( 1684 - 1691 ).
Family
He was married to Anna Rysinskaya (d. 1697/1703). Children:
- Stanislav Pototsky (1659–1683), the headman of Galician;
- Jozef Potocki (1673-1751), the great hetman of the crown;
- Katarzyna Potocka, 1st husband since 1688, subordinate crown Ludwig Jan Velepolsky (d. 1688), 2nd husband of the Wieslitz Warden Francis Theodore Dengof, 3rd husband of the Saxon General.
