Story
Dan Dark, the author of cheap crime fiction, chained to a hospital bed with a rare skin disease, tries to distract himself, imagining himself to be a fearless hero of his “black” detective stories. But the insidious disease plays evil jokes with his mind.
Not only that all the people around him have a strange habit of suddenly performing in front of pop hits of past years, so now Dan suspects that his wife, together with a stranger from his dreams, intends to steal from him the missing script of the film “The Singing Detective”.
And although Dark is gradually recovering, reality is finally mixed with fiction when the villains of his fantasies rush into his real life. This madness will finish off Dan if he fails to overcome him by any means.
