Seni District ( Tib. ནགསེར་ རྙེད་ ཆུས །། , Wiley : gser rnyed chus , Chinese 色 尼 区 п , pinyin : Sèní qū ) is an urban subordination district in the Nagchu urban district of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the PRC .

Climate
The climate of the county is cold and sharply continental due to the mountain location. The average temperature in January is −13.9, July is +9. The average annual temperature is −1.9. Precipitation per year on average falls in the region of 100-200 mm per year,
History
In 1959, Heihe County was created (黑河 县, "Black River"). In 1965, the name of the county was translated from Chinese to Tibetan, and it became known as Nagchu (那曲 县).
By the Decree of the State Council of the PRC of July 18, 2017, Nagchu District was transformed into an urban district; at the same time, Nagchu County was disbanded, and instead a district of urban submission of Seni was created.
Transport
Nagchu Village is a Qinghai-Tibet Railway station and a point on the Beijing-Lhasa Republican Highway ( Godao 109 ). East of Nagchu, a road leaves for Chengdu - the Republican Highway 317 (Sichuan - Tibet) with a length of 2043 km.
