Favard, Jean

Jean Favard ( French: Jean Favard ; August 28, 1902 - January 21, 1965 ) - French mathematician . His work of the 1920s - 1940s greatly influenced the development of function theory and approximation theory . His articles are cited by mathematicians such as C. M. Nikolsky , S. B.
