Serikov, Ermek Serikovich

Yermek Serikov ( June 10, 1989 - August 11, 2009 , Shakhtinsk ) - boxer, member of the Kazakhstan national boxing team, three-time Asian boxing champion, international master of sports. Yermek Serikov was the youngest boxer in the Kazakhstan boxing team . He was born in 1989 . Yermek Serikov began his career at a sports school in the city of Shakhtinsk and devoted the last ten years of his life to boxing. During this time, Ermek Serikov became the three-time Asian boxing champion (among young men in the weight category up to 66 kg - 2004 [4] , among juniors in the weight category up to 69 kg - 2006 [5] , 2007 [6] ), silver medalist of the World Cup among young men (2005 [7] ), a master of sports of international class [1] .

The circumstances of the death

 ... On August 10, at 8 o’clock in the evening, unknown people took the wounded Ermek Serikov to the city hospital of Shakhtinsk. According to doctors, the bullet tore the artery of the thigh. Due to the loss of a huge amount of blood, Yermek Serikov died without regaining consciousness. Police officers who visited the scene found weapons similar to a pneumatic gun, and seven shells. In addition, they found there a bloodied car of Yermek Serikov. The accident occurred in the area of ​​the city station ... 

Despite the efforts of doctors, on Tuesday Yermek Serikov died of great blood loss and hemorrhagic shock [8] . According to later police statements, the killing was not the result of a gangster confrontation. Most likely, it was committed through negligence or because of a petty quarrel [3] . According to the conclusions of the investigators, the murder was completely unexpected for the attackers themselves, since many things were thrown at the crime scene [3] .
