The Greek Navy ( Greek Ελληνικό Πολεμικό Ναυτικό , Elliniko Polemiko Naftiko) - the second oldest type of the Armed Forces of Greece , designed to perform naval operations. The Navy includes frigates, missile and torpedo boats, submarines, gunboats, patrol boats, minesweepers, landing and auxiliary ships, as well as aircraft and helicopters of naval aviation. Fleet management is carried out by the Main Naval Headquarters (Γενικού Επιτελείου Ναυτικού).
