History
Construction
According to the State Program for the Construction and Development of the Metro Network for 2006-2010, the station was to be built before 2008 , however, in early 2010, the construction area was only fenced, active construction of the station began in late 2010. Also at Vasilkovskaya Street (on Amurskaya Square and at the intersection with Lomonosov Street) in late 2010 - early 2011, two construction sites were constructed for the installation of heading shields . For the construction of the station in 2011 allocated 570 million hryvnia [5] .
On January 28, 2011, a mechanized tunnel complex was launched on Amurskaya Square , which will build the right distillation tunnel. According to the plan, the shield should lay up to 10 rings per day and move 12 meters, respectively. In general, the construction speed should reach 250-300 m in a month. Two more mechanized shields began their work in March [6] . The first failure of the right distillation tunnel took place on August 2, 2011. The second, exactly one month later, on September 2, 2011. The passage of the section of the left distillation tunnel, on which a non-mechanized shield was activated, ended on August 13, 2011. The last failure occurred on October 21, 2011. On December 24, 2011, a test train arrived at the station [7] .
Start

On December 27, 2011 at 11 o'clock the official opening ceremony of the station took place [9] .
On December 27, 2011 at 11:36 the first train departed from the station.

Design
Single vault station shallow . Underground hall with island landing platform. The interior decoration of the station is made in a modern technological style with elements of a chess pattern and using materials of domestic production. The platform on the southwestern side is connected by two flights of stairs and an elevator with an underground lobby combined with a new underpass with three-band escalators under the territory adjacent to Vasilkovskaya street. Later, the transition will be extended and connected to the existing transition under Goloseevsky Prospect .
Features of track development
Due to the tight construction time of the station, it was decided to build a congress chamber in front of the station. Thus, the boarding of passengers and boarding in the opposite direction towards the station "Heroes of the Dnieper" is temporarily carried out on the platform of the second path.
After the opening of the Hippodrome station on October 25, 2012, communication with it was temporarily carried out by a shuttle train along the first track. This traffic management scheme was in effect until the opening of the Teremki station on November 6, 2013 .
Work Mode
Entrance to the station is from 5 hours 47 minutes to 23 hours 55 minutes.
