Biography
Born in Kiev in an acting family. My father, being an actor, very famous in Kiev, in 1941, having a reservation, an opportunity to work in front-line brigades, went to war on June 27. Mother was a housewife, cared for his father, who returned from the war disabled.
In 1961 he graduated from the Kiev Institute of Physical Education, in 1967 - the Faculty of Journalism of the Leningrad State University. Consisted of the Komsomol [1] .
- In the years 1967-1979 - a special correspondent for the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda .
- Since 1979 - columnist and photographer for the weekly Literary Gazette .
- From 1994 to 1998, he was the author and presenter of the program “Yury Rost's Stable” (until 1997 on the NTV channel , then on the REN-TV channel) [2] .
- Since 1995 - Member of the Board of Guarantors of the newspaper Obshaya Gazeta .
- Since 1997 - a columnist and photo correspondent for the Moscow News newspaper.
