Geographical position
The village of Bochkovo is located on the right bank of the Volchya river, on the opposite bank are the villages of Chaikovka and Volokhovka , a large forest (pine) adjoins the village.

- Botanical reserve of national importance "Volchansky". Area, 185.0 ha. Placed near the villages of Zemlyanki , the Little Wolf , Nikolaevka , Volokhovka , Nesternoe , Okhrimovka , Bochkovo. Rare Cretaceous and steppe phytocenoses on the right bank of the Volchya River, unique in Ukraine, the location of the relict endemic endangered shrubs - wolf Sofia. In the vegetation cover, a significant role belongs to the groups with the predominance of endemic, relict and endangered species from the European Red List : the colonist Kozo-Polyansky , the histop of the Cretaceous , the wormwood , the flowering plant , the Cretaceous . Flora has more than 500 species of plants.
