Vladimir Evgenievich Yukhnin (b. February 20, 1937 , Leningrad ) - shipbuilder , chief designer (since 2004 - general designer) of the Northern Design Bureau from 1979 to the present.

Biography
He graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute ( 1960 ) and the Military Mechanical Institute .
Since 1960 he has been working in the Northern Design Bureau:
- since 1960 - engineer;
- since 1971 - deputy chief designer;
- since 1979 - chief designer of design bureaus;
- Since August 2004 - General Designer of the Bureau.
Since 1990, she has been in charge of the Department of Ship Design at the St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University.
Family
- Father - Yukhnin, Evgeny Ivanovich ( 1912 - 1999 ), Hero of Socialist Labor , laureate of the Lenin and State Prizes, made a great contribution to the development of domestic shipbuilding.
- Mother - Nesteruk Lidiya Filippovna (born 1914 ), worked in the marine system.
- Wife - Aliya Hafisovna Yukhnina (born 1933 ), worked in the FSUE "Northern PKB".
- Sons
- Aleksey Yukhnin (born 1963 ), works at PJSC Nevskoye Design Bureau as Deputy General Director for Shipbuilding and Military-Technical Cooperation, and Chief Designer;
- Yukhnin Eugene (born 1972 ), after graduating from the University of Finance and Economics, is engaged in business.
Publications
He is the author of more than 50 scientific works and inventions, including 32 printed works, 2 books, 2 cycles of lectures, 12 monographs and 16 inventions.
Rewards
- He was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland IV ( 2006 ) and III degree ( 2012 ) [1] , the Order of the October Revolution ( 1988 ), the Order of the Red Banner of Labor ( 1985 ), the Order of the Badge of Honor ( 1977 ), as well as medals.
