Saint Fainhe ( Fanchea, Fainche ), or Garb ( Garbh ), about which in the life of St. Enda , revered by the founder of Irish monasticism, there are numerous amazing traditions, early became a nun. According to legend, she was a native of Clauger. It is believed that she had a special gift of instructing souls: it was she who convinced her brother, Saint End, to become a monk. Saint Fainhe was abbess-founder of the convent in Rossori, Ferman, and was buried in Killand .
