Polish royal standard bearer in the image of 1605
American Army Flag Bearers, 2006
The standard bearer is the carrying banner .
| Initially, one must think that the banner in the troops was intended to serve as an indication of the place of gathering in battle, but such a meaning the banner had long since lost, the internal meaning remained, as a symbol expressing the idea of unity linking the soldiers into a single whole. Hence the development and preservation of the view to the banner to this day, as a shrine, under which the warriors faithful to their duty are connected, with which they go into battle and for whom they die. |
