DOB (short for 2,5- d is about xi-4- b- romoamphetamine), also known as brorolamphetamine [1] [2] ( INN ), is a phenylethylamine- class psychedelic . DOB was first synthesized by the Russian biochemist A. Shulgin in 1967 [3] .

Retrieval Methods
One of the easiest ways is to get DOB from 2,5-DMA (2,5-dimethoxyamphetamine):
Pharmacology
DOB is a partial agonist of 5-HT 2A , 5-HT 2B and 5-HT 2C receptors [4] . Its psychedelic effect is due to the agonism of the 5-HT 2A receptor. DOB is also a TAAR1 agonist in humans [5] .
It has been suggested that DOB is a prodrug metabolized in the lungs [3] [6] .
Dosage and Administration
In his book PiHKAL (Phenethylamines I Have Known and Loved) , Shulgin indicates a dosage in the range of 1 to 3 mg. However, many consumers report significant effects from doses starting at 0.5 mg . Usually, DOB is taken orally . Also, a sterile solution can be used intramuscularly or intravenously .
Optical Isomers
The "R" isomer is more active than the racemate . The "S" isomer is the least active [3] .
Action
According to Shulgin, the effect of DOB usually lasts from 18 to 30 hours; peak action, or plateau, lasts about 8-12 hours. The substance has been described as a clearer, more amphetamine - like version of LSD ; many users report that it is more “tough” compared to LSD.
The action begins about an hour after taking the drug and gradually intensifies another 3-4 hours. Sudden attacks of laughter may appear, similar to the effect of marijuana , but stronger and almost uncontrollable.
Toxicity
The toxicity of ADD is not well understood. Shulgin suggested that the toxic dose of DBD should be about 1000 effective doses. There is information that high doses of the substance can provoke vasoconstriction of the vessels of the limbs, which can lead to gangrene. Also, the use of DOB should be excluded for people with circulatory problems, heart, blood vessels, liver or kidney diseases, glaucoma, epilepsy, fusion fractures of the extremities (in the process of fusion, the microcirculation of the broken limb is impaired). There are reports of the development of skin cyanosis in healthy people when using doses of the drug from 3 mg [7] .
Distribution
ADD is not uncommon on the black market , often ADD is sold in the form of so-called “stamps” (rectangular pieces of cardboard with a picture) under the guise of LSD or mescaline , and (relatively rarely) in the form of tablets under the guise of MDMA . Also sold in solution. DOB and its analogues DOH , DOI , HOUSE , DON have a more noticeable bitter taste, in contrast to the less pronounced taste of LSD , therefore, with corresponding doubts, some consumers of psychedelic substances recommend licking the brand: in the case of LSD, the taste will not be felt, while for Before * group sharp bitterness will be felt .
Legal Status
According to the recommendations of the International Narcotics Control Board , ADD belongs to the I class of prohibited psychotropic substances [8] .
In Russia, ADD is included in List I of the List of narcotic drugs , psychotropic substances and their precursors, the circulation of which is prohibited. The substance is prohibited by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 30, 2010 No. 486 [1] . For the purposes of 228, 228.1, 229 and 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, 0.01 g (10 mg) is considered to be a significant size of substances, 0.05 g (50 mg) large, 10 g [9] .
