Geographical position

The village is located on the Valdai Upland , 2 km west of Lake Zaozerye , 3.7 km north of the Kresttsy- Okulovka- Borovichi highway and Lake Peretno , 5 km west of the village of Zaozerye , 6 km south-west of Zaozerye railway station, 8 km northwest of the center of the rural settlement - the village of Beryozovik , 13 km north-east of the Maly Borok exit with M11 , and 14 km west of the city of Okulovka . [6]

Archeology

In the area of ​​Lake Zaozerye there are traces of Stone Age cultures, there are also finds from the 5th century ; in 2007, Dorishch, Zabrodye and Snarevo found pottery of the early Iron Age related to the pre-Slavic population and the oldest stage of Slavic settlement of the lake area [7] [8] .

History

In 1495, Zabrodye [9] (7 courtyards, 6 lodges ) [10] was the monastery village of the Khutynsky Monastery , located in the Polishchsky [11] graveyard of the Derevskaya Pyatina of Novgorod land . [12]

In 1776-1792, 1802-1918 the village of Zabrodye was located in the Krestetsky district of the Novgorod province . From the beginning of the XIX century - in the educated Zaozersky volost of the Krestetsk district with a center in the village of Zaozerye . [13]

Zabrodye is marked on the maps of Krestetsky Uyezd 1788 [14] (64th, 65th sheets), Novgorod governorate 1792 [15] [16] , Napoleonic 1812 [17] , capitalist 1816 [18] , Novgorod province 1821 [19] [ 20] and 1843 [21] , and the Military Road Maps of the Russian Empire of 1829 [22] and 1837 [23] . It is found on a special map of the western part of Russia of Schubert of 1826-1840 [24]

In 1908, in the village of Zabrodye there were 56 yards and 100 houses with a population of 291 people. [25] . There was a chapel. [26]

In 1918, the center of the Zaozersky volost was moved to Okulovka , and the Zaozersky volost itself was moved to the formed Malovishersky district of the Novgorod province . A Zabrodsky village council was established with a center in Zabrodye, which also included the villages of Dorishchi , Zaozerye , Moshnikovo , Borok . In 1924, the Zaozersky volost was renamed Okulovskaya. [13]

In 1927-1963, the Zabrodsky Village Council was located in the Okulovsky District . In 1963, the Zabrodsky village council was abolished. In 1963-1965 Zabrodye - in the Vargusovsky village council of the Okulovsky rural area. In 1965, Zabrodye and the villages of the former Zabrodsky Village Council entered the newly formed Berezoviksky Village Council of the newly formed Okulovsky District . [13]
