Toduz us Santos [2] ( port. Baía de Todos os Santos ; literally the Bay of All Saints ) - a bay on the east coast of Brazil in the state of Bahia , on the banks of which is partially located the state capital, the city of Salvador . The bay area is 1223 km², which makes it the second largest among the bays of Brazil [1] [3] after the Gulf of San Marcus .

For the most part, the bay is shallow, the average depth is 9.8 m [1] . The River, whose catchment area is 56,300 km², flows along the Reconcavo lowland before entering the bay, while its average flow rate is 162 m³ / s and depends on the dam operation mode [4] . There are 91 islands in the bay, the largest of which Itaparika is located at the very entrance [5] . Farol da Barra (Barra lighthouse), located on the site of a historic fortress, is also located at the entrance to the bay [6] .
