The Upper Multa Lake is located on the territory of the Katunsky Reserve . [5] The water temperature in July is 8 ° C. The northern part of the lake is marshy; the southern coast is a scree, along which a stream flows from a karst lake located in a rock. In the upper part, the greatest depth is reached, and the smallest - in the opposite end, at the sources of the Multa . In the bowl of the lake 11 streams fall from different types of waterfalls. From Upper Multinsky Lake through the Norilsk pass with a height of 2,650 m you can reach Lake Talmen [6] .
