Features
It begins in the center of the village of Dagomys , at the confluence of two rivers: Western Dagomys and East Dagomys , 800 meters from the Black Sea coast.
A pedestrian bridge has been built across the river, with more than 100 years of history. As well as a railway bridge, not far from the confluence of the river into the sea. Two automobile bridges were built across the West Dagomys and East Dagomys rivers, which connect sections of the M 27 Dzhubga - Tuapse - Sochi - Adler highway. There are also several pedestrian bridges at both sources.
The total catchment area of the river is 103 km 2 . The water consumption in summer is - 2.06 m 3 / s.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the famous Russian photographer, one of the inventors of color photography, S. M. Prokudin-Gorsky, first photographed the valley of the Dagomys River. Photographs date from the period between 1905 and 1915. Currently located in the Library of Congress.
