Europcar

Europcar , a car rental company headquartered in Paris, is owned by the French investment company Eurazeo after Volkswagen sold it in June 2006 as part of its adopted program to reduce costs. The company was founded in 1949 in Paris . Currently, Europcar operates a fleet of more than 200,000 cars at 2,825 rental locations in 143 countries. In Europe, the Europcar fleet in July 2011 totaled 193 thousand cars [1]

In 2007, Europcar acquired Vanguard EMEA for 670 million euros. Vanguard EMEA owns the brands of National car rental and Alamo Rent A Car in Europe .

In 2018, Europcar in Russia opened the first two Europcar offices, in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
