Biography
Faina Lodkina was born in 1923 . Graduated from 10 classes. She was not a member of the Komsomol . Before the occupation, she worked at the Semeykino station as a telegraph student. [ significance of fact? ] . During occupation [ when? ] together with Nadezhda Shcherbakova joined the underground Komsomol group of the village of Semeykino, led by Nikolai Mironov [1] .
January 18, 1943 Faina and Nadezhda were arrested by police in the village of Krasnoye, but soon released, because they were forced under the offensive of the Red Army run away, but then returned again.
On January 28, Shcherbakova and Lodkina were arrested again, but on the same day Lodkin was released . Lodkina, obviously, did not show much activity, being in the organization, since she entered there exclusively for the company with Shcherbakova (who was her friend) and therefore, for the Germans, it seemed, was of little interest either . Her further fate is unknown. Dmitry Scherbinin in her book “ Girls with a Heart of Steel, Boys with a Soul Like Granite ” writes that Lodkina survived the war.
Along with Shcherbakova, Lodkin is one of those Young Guards who became known only after the collapse of the USSR.
