Interesting Facts

According to the testimony of Solveig Dommartin [1] , the inner monologues of the main character of the film “Sky over Berlin” were partly improvisation, born of the film dubbing, which included her personal thoughts and phrases from the book by Peter Handke (one of the authors of the film script) “Le poids du monde ”(Fr.“ Severity of the world ”), which seemed Solveig Dommartin important. The book asked her to read Wenders himself.

The book with the title “Until the End of the World” on the cover is shown in one of the scenes of the film “The Sky Over Berlin”.
