Career
Regis was a graduate of the Internacional club, for whose main squad he played from 1996 to 1999, then Regis played at the Fluminense club from 2000 to 2001. Later, Regis returned to International, but the club did not want to sign a contract with him, and therefore Regis moved to São Paulo , where he spent 1 season. In 2003, Regis, who at that time played 123 matches in the Brazilian championship and scored 7 goals [1] , moved to the Russian club Saturn Ren-TV , which paid 667.5 thousand pounds for the transfer of the Brazilian. But in “Saturn” Regis spent only 9 matches and was sent to the “double” team, having spent 13 games.
At the end of the season in Russia, Regis was leased to the Cruzeiro Club [2] , then he played for Brazilillene , Ponte Preto and Coritiba . From Coritiba, Regis transferred on loan to the Viborg club, which then bought the contract of a football player [3] . Then he played in the Juventude clubs, the Uruguayan Defensor Sporting , Paysandu and Figuerence .
