Research Area

The scientific activity of D. Dahlmann is concentrated mainly around the history of Russia and the USSR from the 18th century. to the present day. The subject of careful study were such sections as the history of the development of sciences in Russia , and more specifically, the study of Siberia and the Far East from the 18th century .; the history of Siberia in all its aspects; Entrepreneurship in Russia in the 19th and early 20th centuries; the history of sports, especially the early history of football in Russia.
