Designation of a binary trochotron, according to GOST 2.731-81
A trohotron is an electron-beam switch that uses the movement of electrons along a trochoid in crossed electric and magnetic fields. Purpose: it is possible to count pulses (from units to 10 5 Hz) with the help of trochotrons, measure time intervals from a few microseconds to several minutes, switch electrical circuits, generate pulses, pulse modulate and demodulate, etc. There are several types of trochotrons: linear, binary, ring, two-dimensional.
