Belonging to the Kypchak-Nogai, Yurt does not show the sh> s movement characteristic of the Kazakh , Karakalpak and Nogai , the change in w> w is extremely rare. Phonetically, the language as a result of contacts is generally closer to the Tatar language , while the grammatical features characteristic of the Nogai area are preserved.
