Yakushkins - an old Russian noble family, descending from the nobleman Fedor-Yan Olgovich Yakushevsky , who left in 1421 to Grand Duke Vasily II of the Dark and named Fedor Yakush . His descendants served as governors , solicitors , stewards , ambassadors ( Yakov Ivanovich was ambassador to Crimea in 1657–1667), especially in the 17th century. This genus is recorded in the sixth part of the genealogy book of the Smolensk province ; the coat of arms is included in the IV part of the General Stamp .

A branch of this genus is another noble family of the Yakushkins, also recorded in the Smolensk province. There are several more noble families of the Yakushkins of a later origin.
Emblem Description
In the shield, which has a red field, a golden Cross is depicted, placed on a silver figure about three prongs (cf. Radwan ).
The shield is crowned with an ordinary noble helmet with a noble crown on it and three ostrich feathers. The mark on the shield is red, lined with gold. The shield is held by two warriors holding a spear on the right side and a shield on the left. The coat of arms of the Yakushkin family is included in Part 4 of the General Tombstone of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire, p. 42.
