Clarisse et Florent ( French: Clarisse et Florent ) is a 13th-century French epic poem from the cycle of Guon of Bordeaux . The heroine of the poem is the daughter of Guon Clarissa.

Contents
The kings of England and Hungary marry Clarissa, but she prefers Florent, the son of King Garen of Aragon. Clarissa is abducted, she falls into the hands of the Saracens, but she is saved by one of the close associates of King Aragon. Garen is against this marriage, and lovers take flight. They fall into Saracen captivity, they are imprisoned in the tower of Alfalern fortress, but they manage to escape. Is with a large army of Guon. This puts an end to all obstacles to this marriage, as well as the enmity of Aragon and Navarra . Garen puts up with her son, and the young celebrate the wedding.
