Style

The Battlelore style is original and does not fit into the framework of one genre [1] [2] . They combine elements of such genres as gothic metal [3] [4] [5] , power metal [6] , melodic death metal , folk metal [7] and symphonic metal [8] . The group combines a brutal male growl with female vocals in a duet called by critics “beauty and the beast.” The performers themselves dubbed their style as true arctic fantasy metal .

Break

On October 23, 2011, the group announced a temporary cessation of its activities [9] : comic information was posted on the official Battlelore website that the group “went on a concert tour of Middle-earth.” On June 11, 2012, the group returned from vacation and on August 9 gave an acoustic concert in Helsinki at the Nosturi club [10] [11] . On January 16, 2016, the band announced their return to the scene. [12]
