Geography
The relief of the territory is flat, the soil is sandy and loamy in composition, in places solontsy come to the surface. Soils are favorable for agriculture and gardening. The Tomuzlovka River flows from west to east, within the boundaries of the village’s territory, its banks are taken into concrete. In the southern part of the village there are many oldlings of this river, drying up in the hot summer period and many streams used for irrigation. The village of Tomuzlovskoye is located at a distance of 24 km from the district center of the city of Budyonnovsk and 153 km from the regional center of the city of Stavropol .
The total area of the territory is 2320 hectares. The municipality of Tomuzlovsky village council consists of two settlements: s. Tomuzlovskoye - the administrative center of the settlement, and the village. Right Bank.
History
The village was founded in 1787 (according to other data - in 1803, 1839 or in 1840) [3] .
Before the revolution of 1917, there was a large community of the chaloput sect in the village. The population was engaged in cattle breeding, it bred sheep, horses and cattle [4] .
