The airfield belongs to the 4th class and is capable of receiving An-2 and similar aircraft , as well as Mi-8 helicopters and lighter ones. Mi-8 helicopters are based at the aerodrome [1] .
8 km north-west of the airfield there is another military airfield - Ucharal .
