Current State of the Airfield
The aviation of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy is based at the airport - IL-18 , IL-38 aircraft , Ka-27 , Mi-8 helicopters . Planned deployment of Ka-52K helicopters for Russian ships of the Mistral type.

History
At the end of 1933 a decree of the Council of Labor and Defense "On measures to strengthen the Amur and the coast of the Far East" was issued, according to which by November 1934 it was planned to deploy 11 air squadrons in the Far East. To implement these plans, in accordance with the "Plan of organizational measures of the headquarters of the Red Army for 1934" No. 1/1/33053 of 12/21/1933 and No. 1/1/31880 of 05/10/1933, during 1934 on 11 squadrons were relocated from the western regions of the country, including the 22nd and 32nd light bomber AEs from Novocherkassk to R-5 aircraft to Nikolaevka airfield. In 1936, both squadrons were re-equipped with high-speed SB bombers ( ANT-40 ). By the end of the year, two more squadrons of high-speed bombers are being formed at the airdrome - the 52nd and 53rd SBAEs.
In 1938, at the Nikolaevka airfield on the basis of the 22nd, 32nd, 52nd, 53rd SBAE, the 34th SBAA was deployed on SB aircraft. The regiment became part of the 29th aviation brigade of the Pacific Fleet. In 1943, 29 Av. the brigade became known as the 2nd mine and torpedo aviation division.
In 1942, on the basis of the 34th BAP, a new 33rd BAP was formed on SB and Pe-2 aircraft. The 33rd BAP became part of the 10th Aviation Brigade formed in Nikolaevka, the control of which was transferred from the Baltic Fleet. In 1943, the brigade was reorganized into a division (10th Aviation Division of dive bombers of the Navy), which included at the airfield: 33rd BAP, 34th BAP and 19th IAP.
On December 31, 1943, at the Nikolaevka airfield, the 5th separate towing air defense squadron was formed, on SB and I-15bis aircraft , with direct subordination to the head of the air defense fleet.
Based on the results of military operations with Japan, the 34th Near Bomber Aviation Regiment was transformed into the Guards (renamed the 17th Guards BBAP) and awarded the Order of the Red Banner, the division was given the honorary name Seisinskaya.
Also, in the period from July 12, 1943 to September 20, 1947, the 534th fighter aviation regiment on I-153 aircraft was based at the Nikolaevka airfield, subsequently renamed the 3rd fighter aviation regiment . The regiment took part in the Soviet-Japanese war .

In September 1947, the 534th Fighter Regiment was relocated to Khabarovsk.
In 1947, the 10th ADPB became known as the 89th mine and torpedo division, the 17th Guards. APPB renamed the 567th Guards. The 5th Navy Airborne Transport and Infantry Forces, and the 33rd BAP was disbanded.
In 1960, in connection with the reform of the army, the 567th Guards MTAP was abolished (like the entire 89th MTAD in full force), but a year later a new 867th Guards was formed on the remnants of the 567th regiment in Nikolaevka. November 1, 1963 on air. Nikolaevka formed the 188th separate aviation squadron of training and launching target aircraft, with subordination to the commander of the 3rd MRAD. The squadron was armed with both ordinary Il-28 target towers and La-17 target aircraft launch squad. Launching positions of La-17 targets were at Cape Povorotny near Kozmino. The states of this unusual military unit corresponded to a separate aviation squadron.
In 1965, the 867th Guards. MTAP is again being reorganized into the 867th Guards. a separate long-range reconnaissance aviation regiment, having re-equipped with Tu-95 RC airplanes and soon relocated to a new place of deployment - the Khorol airfield.
In December 1968, retraining of the 289th OPLAP personnel for the Be-12 amphibious aircraft began, and in 1969, a new 77th separate long-range anti-submarine aviation regiment, armed with new Il-38 aircraft, was formed at Nikolaevka airfield.
In 1976, the 188th separate AE for the preparation and launch of target aircraft was reorganized the 118th separate detachment for the preparation and launch of target aircraft. The towing aircraft were removed from the armament, there were only targets for ground launch. In addition to the La-17 targets, the armament also had radio-controlled unmanned vehicles. The starting position was near the southern end of the airfield runway.
In 1993, the 77th regiment was disbanded, aircraft and honorary titles were transferred to the neighboring 289th regiment, Be-12 amphibious aircraft were withdrawn from service. In the same year, after the disbandment of the Novonezhino garrison, a helicopter squadron on the Ka-27 , Ka-29 and Mi-8 was introduced into the 289th regiment.
On May 1, 1998, the 118th OOPSPSM (Directive of the General Staff of the Navy No. 730/1/060) was disbanded in the garrison of Nikolaevka.
In 2010, all aviation military units of Nikolaevka airfield were reorganized into 7062 Avb Pacific Fleet. In January 2010, the 7059th Avb (Knevichi) was disbanded, and its structures, together with the former 76th aviation commandant at the Khorol aerodrome, became part of the 7062th Avb, without changing the location. Subsequently, the long-range anti-submarine squadron at the Tu-142 MZ (without changing the location) of the disbanded 7061 guards was included in the 7062 Avb. Avb (Stone Stream), after the transfer of two squadrons of missile carriers Tu-22 M3 to long-range aviation.
