The last Cabinet of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR, which is considered the first composition of the government of independent Kazakhstan .

In 1990, the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR was reorganized into the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR.

This composition was mainly inherited by the Prime Minister Sergei Tereshchenko, appointed by the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR on October 16, 1991, and it was only on December 24, 1991 that the staff was renewed.
